I suppose if you like the SM variance of the sex act, then it would still be enjoyable regardless of the language.

We all know that the teaching of Science and Mathematics in schools should continue in English for very obvious reasons. So why then do we have 5000 people being manipulated to march the streets in Kuala Lumpur in defiance of tear gas and possible arrest to kick out the use of English in school for the teaching of the two subjects?

Fear?

English is a rather difficult language to learn.

I believe if you do not have parents who are good in the English Language nor do you live in areas conducive to the learning and the necessary practice of the language; you and your parents will have the fear of not being able to make it.

If you are poor and/or you live in the rural areas, you may belong to this group. You may very well have this fear that your children would not be able to compete with the urban and richer people. This may in turn make you susceptable to be easily convinced by selfish politicians to retard progress. "If my children can't have what yours have, then screw you, leave us alone in our world where we shall continue to survive on our subsistent ways."

So, what can we do!

I say we bring in one thousand foreign teachers trained to teach. Pay them enough to entice them to go to the rural areas to immediately start lessons beginning in all secondary schools. In fact, I should say all public secondary schools including the urban ones. Such professional teachers shall take on English as a subject as well as using English for the teaching of Mathematics and Science.

I suspect such teachers appearing by the hundreds will give hope to parents that their children will do okay in spite of their own shortcomings.

Let the money come from Petronas, while we still have some oil to extract. We should have increasing, and in time sufficient numbers of young people to help this country to compete internationally. Emigration to other English speaking countries will probably drop, net increasing this pool.

As we are all off springs from the same mother or the few mothers with our fore parents walking out of Africa 70,000 years ago, we can compete with anybody else in the world as we all share the same good and defective genes in us.

I trust 6 years should be enough time to see significant results.

And oh, by the way, can we also have a change in Government and stop this nonsense of Ketuanan Melayu and some vague Social Contract thing that we are being kept reminded that our forefathers went into? Can we see some documents please?

If your great grandfather believe that he can continue to marry if the one he marries can't give him a son; will that also bind you to commit this act? Also, your children 500 years down the road?

And oh, by the way, can we also have a truly independent MACC and the Judiciary?

Liyana is quite famous locally

Went to Delifrance Mid Valley for breakfast this morning.

Somebody told me the waitress attending to us looked like Liyana of Estrella. So I asked her. "Yes, I am a fan of Estrella and people have told me I look like her."

Now that I am back with my computer, I checked. She does look like Liyana although I think Liyana is a bit slimmer.

Kara is not famous yet

Kara Poon is not famous yet.

She is the 17 year old daughter of Larry and Margaret Poon.

Last year in early August she had the opportunity to perform at the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square and in Tianjin representing Australia as part of a troupe. She plays Alto and Soprano Sax. She was a Grade 7 player the last I spoke to Margaret just before the Chinese New Year. The performances were in conjunction with the Beijing Olympics 2008.

Unfortunately, in the videos, you can't see individual performers clearly and so would be unlikely that you can spot her.

You know I am a lurking party to an internet email loop comprising of about 500 of my old school mates. The school being Methodist Boys' School, Kuala Lumpur. Many a source of information and entertainment including this link came from there.

Wonderful people we have there now residing in many many parts of the world in very many different industries, hobbies and interests.

It would indeed be cool if we can replicate the same scenario for CanonMalaysians. Could we have 5000 of us now all over the world?

Liew Sip Chon - Birthday Coming Up

Liew Sip Chon's 2009 Birthday is any time now.

Shereen Phua said she has to go back to Chengdu China on the same week. Hence a few of us old friends met up with Liew a little earlier. Older folks should not use the phrase 'celebrate birthdays'. It gives the impression that we like to grow old and hence celebrate.

Lunch was at Oriental Pavilion Jaya 33. We talked about old times again. Older people always talk about old times. Could be a good thing that sometimes older people develop Alzheimer's. Makes the old stories seem like fresh when you can't remember.

People in attendance were Liew Sip Chon, Shereen Phua, Jullie Chin, KC Han and myself.

I noticed that lately Liew likes to tell stories. Remember the Hare and Tortoise episode? This time, he related the one (true case, he said) about the call-in Radio Show in Australia.

In that show, the DJ invited a married man to call in. Then he was asked 3 questions of which he must answer truthfully. Subsequently, the wife will be called and the same 3 questions will be asked of his wife. If the answers match, then they will win a free trip to sunny Bali, all expenses paid.

Being asked what he did at 8.00am that morning, the man answered that he made love to his wife and with the next question, he said it lasted 15 minutes. In the last answer as to where it was done, he mentioned they did it in the kitchen.

Okay!

Then the wife was called whilst the husband remained on the line. She was explained the rules and answer the first one correctly, saying that they had sex at 8.00am that morning. She said it lasted 10 minutes. This answer was deemed correct as most men like to think it being longer than actual. So now we have only the last question standing in the way for them to win the Bali holiday prize.

Can we trust you, Ahmad Said?

In the Star newspaper today,

Ahmad Said has served in various capacities in the ACA, including as director-general before being appointed MACC chief commissioner.

Ahmad Said has been attacked in blogs and via e-mail over the issue of his son bringing child pornographic material into Australia. His son, a pilot, pleaded guilty and paid a fine for the offence.

Ahmad Said vehemently denies that it was child pornography. He said that the titles of the video clips found in his son’s laptop computer were misleading.

“I can bet with you that it’s something that you will find on most men’s handphones,” he said.

I did not think much about this after reading. A little later, I read in Jeff Ooi's blog.

Prohibited item in Australia

AdelaideNow.com, a news website owned by Rupert Murdoch's Fox News group, reported February 08 last year that Ahmad's Said's son Ahmad Shauqi, a Malaysia Airlines co-pilot, was handcuffed to the Adelaide Magistrates Court, and convicted and fined for bringing child pornography into the country on his personal computer.

The three videos classified as prohibited import items were titled "Reped (sic) Virgin'', "10-Year Old'' and "High School Students".

Contrary to what the MACC chief had tried to rationalise, that the titles were misleading, Magistrate Simon Smart ruled that "this material is repugnant and abhorrent - any decent minded person would be so affected by it".

Magistrate Smart added that the rape scene featured a crying girl aged under 18 being forced to have sex with an older male. "These are not victimless crimes - for every video that depicts such a scene there is a victim,'' he said.

Ahmad Shauqi was fined A$5000.00 $5,000 and had his laptop forfeited to the Crown.

Records entered in the South Australian court show Magistrate Smart had told him the videos were cruel and violent and it was a disgrace that the married father of two had brought the material to Australia. The magistrate further said people like Shauqi encouraged the market for child pornography.

Ahmad Shauqi's wife was expecting their third child at that time.Moral of the story is: Between the Australian Bench and MACC, who is misleading us? You judge.

I don't care about Ahmad Shauqi. I think he is a sick fuck.
