Olympics Beijing has ended. The closing was certainly not as impressive as the Opening, although there were some memorable moments. Of course you would have noticed Jimmy Page, lead guitarist of defunct Led Zepellin with Leona Lewis doing "Whole Lotta Love". Where was Robert Plant? Viewing both the opening and closing, you cannot help but be awared of the huge number of people(performers) participating, a testimony to the huge Chinese population.

The Permatang Pauh By-Election; .. we will have to wait as it is going to happen tomorrow. My prediction will be a good turnout and a huge landslide win by Anwar Ibrahim.

Meanwhile, you may remember Anna Bessonova, the Bronze Medallist for Rhythmic Gymnastic. Let me give you here her performance in Swan Lake Gala in 2005. She was impressive here as well. The music was beautiful. Only the quality of the film clip was not so good.
