Winnie Kuan has joined Canon?
No, pretty and elegant Winnie has never been with Canon. She left Hewlett-Packard as the Manager of the Most Valued Customers team to now head the Samsung Printer business in Malaysia.
The function was jointly organised by ECS Astar and Samsung. Why was I there?

Why did Winnie talked about Canon. Actually she was making a presentation on Samsung. Samsung is the 2nd largest laser printer engine manufacturer in the world. Canon was mentioned in passing being at the number 1 position.
Samsung printer market share is also number 1 in 20 countries. She said that Samsung is either number 1 or number 2 in almost every venture that Samsung is in. Cited were handphones and LCD monitors.
Currently Samsung is extremely aggressive in courting resellers in world domination, Malaysia being no exception. I can tell that their people are enthusiastic, motivated and pretty gung ho in general.
Printer partners were being told too that Samsung is 100% partner-centric and presently Samsung has 40 printer models in the range. A few times, Winnie mentioned about the early birds' rewards in worms catching.
By the way, the fusion food was good and the beer cold and soothing.
