Peter the Great

You know Peter 1 the Great born 1672 ruled Russia and later the Russian Empire at one time. Actually he started ruling together with his sickly half brother Ivan V when he was only ten years old.

Really his mother Sophia was ruling when Peter was young sitting behind the dual throne. The throne has a large hole cut out, you know like your wife telling you how to drive while sitting at the back of the car.

This guy is a tall fellow being 6'8". He died in 1725 at the age of 52.

To cut the long story short. Peter inherited an uneducated, untrained, uncivilized and superstitious country that excluded itself from European society, economy, and politics. In large measure, Peter exchanged tradition in favor of modernization. Peter the Great prodded a relatively backwards Muscovy state into a modernized Russia that competed with other European powers.

Peter Chow is no lesser great. He took me to this Seremban Favorites restaurant for lunch a few days ago. Great!!

Talking to him, it was amazing to learn that this relatively young fellow (do not let his grey hair fool you) knows all the last time people. He knows Christie Low, Albert Leong and Garry Ng.

He was in Canon from 2002-2007. He came in impressing Lim Kok Hin who interviewed him. He wondered though at that time why Kok Hin keep speaking to him in Hokkien during the interview, after knowing he was from Penang as well. Well, Peter did not know that Kok Hin likes to have a lot of friends.

He was the Assistant Marketing Manager (BIS Division) in Canon Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd initially with Lim Kok Hin and later worked on Jeremy Lee's watch.

Peter Chow is a computer expert starting his career as a computer programmer. Today he is busy ensuring Leonova monitors achieve major market shares in the Asia Pacific Region.

This guy has a tremendous amount of friends (check his facebook account), a fierce computer gamer and knows all the good places to go to for lunch.
