If a General Election is to be held tomorrow, there will be no prizes to guess that Pakatan Rakyat will take over the Government.
With the successes of the March GE and then Permatang Pauh, much hope has been given to ordinary people on the streets that Change is Possible and can be obtained NOW!!!
Barison Nasional needs time to do damage control i.e. if damages so far can be controlled; and the current Tide can be rolled back. Time is currently not what they have in abundance. But they will have time if Emergency Rule is declared.
Hence I am with those who advocate that nobody takes to the streets to protest the ISA arrests of Raja Petra, Teresa Kok and Sin Chew Daily reporter Tan Hoon Cheng.
Incidentally, Tan Hoon Cheng has finally been released and made history by having served the shortest detention period under the ISA, to be exact 20 hours.
