Surprise?
No surprise. The Americans like to do things their own way. Take baseball, American football, handball, racquet ball, spell labour as labor, talking non-stop from age 1, thought Malaysia was part of Russia. think that Mahathir is a pain in the ass. (well okay, this one's they share with many many people outside USA and in Malaysia as well.)
Labour Day is an annual holiday celebrated all over the world that resulted from the labour union movement, to celebrate the economic and social achievements of workers. The majority of countries celebrate Labour Day on May 1, and it is popularly known as May Day and International Workers' Day.
The celebration of Labour Day has its origins in the Eight-hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest.
So now, most of us know we work too long and do not work hard enough on recreation.
Now this guy does not have to work anymore. Jeremy Lee Chow San left Canon Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd and have been enjoying life since. He shall continue to enjoy for another 100 years.
It is his birthday today, I found out while browsing facebook this morning.
He mentioned at length to me some time ago on how he came upon this General Insurance business that he will take up and which will take care of all his financial needs and leisure needs. Gee, I am thinking of killing myself for choosing the wrong industry. Somebody up there is certainly mysterious in his design on our welfare.

The general insurance business is not true?
Non believers have mentioned to me on so many versions on his reason for leaving. I researched on Malaysian Insider, Malaysiakini and Malaysia-Today and couldn't find anything.
Well then, let's just stick by the 'general insurance' reason until proven otherwise. Or we can wait for his tell-all book to be published.
